WHO AND WHY NEEDS THE DEAL WITH HAMAS?

WHO AND WHY NEEDS THE DEAL WITH HAMAS?

Recently too many time-servers, profiteering from keeping the conflict intensity on high level (rather than small) appeared in Israel that fights the terrorist with one hand and feeds them with another one. If this dragon is not nourished with money and arms and no fresh blood is transfused to him, he pines quickly. Now the Israeli government decided to repeat the trick that used to produce flawless results in the past: to reinforce the military organization with most frenzied and experienced terrorists.

If we believe the public opinion poll regarding the deal with HAMAS, native Israelites and the CIS expatriates have fetched themselves astride the barricades. The overwhelming majority of Russian-speaking citizens condemn the deal, while the natives feature more adherents of returning the captivated corporal by any means than opponents of the mass amnesty.

The unanimity of the Israeli "Russian street" is likely explained by the mentality, rather than ideology. When the government commits something that clearly contradicts the common sense, "Russians" don’t surprise because they’re used to expecting no good coming "from the top". Those, lacking the Soviet experience, fall for attributing the authorities with merits they can have by no means easier. That’s what feeds the versions claiming that the high price was paid because Israeli army doesn’t leave its soldiers in trouble or that members of Netanyahu government were unable to proceed with their daily tasks, while common Israeli guy Gilad Shalit was tortured in HAMAS captivity. And mind the touchingly naïve assumption that that the deal was the "triumph" of corporal’s relatives.

The fact that all the previous mass amnesties have triggered the escalation of violence and deaths of dozens and hundreds common people is plainly ignored by the exchange adherents who’d rather believe into the fairy-tales about "nano-chips" allegedly implanted to the released terrorists than their own common sense. That is why lacking the Soviet training it’s hard to live bearing the understanding of a clearly anti-national policy of the democratically elected government.
Sure enough, no chips have ever been implanted to terrorists and no one has ever been going to do that. Top brass remember well enough that more than a half of the amnestied terrorists return to the path of violence (Shiv’a Yamim, 18/10/2011). I. e. releasing 1027 militants and saboteurs, military and politicians had reckoned that nearly 500 of them would go back to terror and that some of them will sooner or later succeed in subversions. Where do you see humanism in that? What it is then?

Neither fools, nor simpletons rule Israel, but hard-boiled men, who know their profits and capable of achieving their goals. Prior to accusing them of naivety and giving cunning advice (which patriotic forums seem to be competing in) we have to figure out, what kind of benefit they’re trying to get from the inevitable consequences of mass amnesty. We have to be ready, though, that their benefit might be deadly for both Arabs and Israelites, dreaming of living in peace and raising their kids.

However, peaceful life of both nations came to an end in 1993, when the Oslo Accords were signed. Arabs from Judea, Samaria and Gaza Strip, who’ve worked at Israeli factories, farms and construction for miserable fare, got something different from citizenship and social rights. Israeli government, headed by Yitzhak Rabin, delivered them Yasser Arafat and several dozen thousands militants from the so-called "Palestine Liberation Army" straight from Tunisia. Then foreign laborers, who were to replace the cheap labor force from the "controlled territories" started arriving to Israel.

Palestinian militants from Tunisia got the weapons from the IDF arsenals and were trained by Israeli instructors at Israeli military bases. For example, future snipers were trained at the fields near Jericho. Tanzim security units were also trained there. Their commander Marwan Barghouti, later arrested for the murders and sentenced to several life terms, hasn’t been liberated during the "Shalit deal" like the rest of prisoners. Barghouti was one of political leader of the Palestinian Autonomy, was considered Arafat’s successor for quite a time, often met Israeli politicians and seemingly knows too much to be at large.

Simultaneously with arrival of "veterans of terror" from Tunisia to the territories, controlled by Israel, thousands of them, embodying the impunity of murder, were set free from jails. This policy resulted exactly the way Oslo peace opponents cautioned it would. While the first, pre-Oslo Intifada was a "stone" one, the second one was a "firearms" one. When Israel surrendered an entire Gaza Strip to the reign of terror the "mortar" phase started and Qassam rockets and Grad volleys poured from the southern regions. In response Israel has often carried out anti-terrorist operations (never completing them though) and built a "security wall" that cost 10 billion shekel, never stopped a single terrorist yet considerably spoiling the life of the dwellers of Arabian villages. Iron Dome air defense system, which costs 15 billion shekel, is to protect the aerial space, albeit giving no 100% guarantees of safety.

One man’s war is another man’s own wet nurse. Now entrances to every shop, restaurant or state institution are guarded by young straight-out-of-the-military men, whose contribution to the economy is counted by the number of daily searched bags. Naturally, all the private security companies belonged to the former IDF and ISA senior officers, who’d have suffered huge losses in case of peace. The same thing is applicable to the insurance companies, which raised the insurance prices, car shops, which armor the buses and repair the cars, damaged by stones and bullets on the state account etc. Recently too many time-servers, profiteering from keeping the conflict intensity on high level (rather than small) appeared in Israel that fights the terrorist with one hand and feeds them with another one. If this dragon is not nourished with money and arms and no fresh blood is transfused to him, he pines quickly.

That’s exactly what has been happening during the recent months. Level of terrorism started to decrease drastically. The most dangerous terrorists have been captivated and sentenced to life terms. Certain organizations (PFLP for instance) were destroyed completely. And the majority of Arab population, despite the drop of living standards and humiliation at the outposts isn’t very hasty to replenish the ranks of militants. Moreover! The idea of state independence is so unpopular among Arabs that merely 15 thousands (due to substantially exaggerated official data) came to celebrate the Mahmoud Abbas demarche to the UN that was organized in the "capital" of Palestinian Autonomy Ramallah! Just a few dozen of teenagers came to take part at the "holiday stone-throwing" at the Kalandia outpost, although the lessons had been farsightedly cancelled. What’s that if not a challenge?

Now the Israeli government decided to repeat the trick that used to produce flawless results in the past: to reinforce the military organization with most frenzied and experienced terrorists. The only difference is that both of previous amnesties were "free of charge", while the current one was styled as the "exchange deal" and an "act of humanism". This is yet to result in the new outburst of violence, justifying the growth of military spending and the continuation of the projects like Iron Dome and the Security Wall. Parents of the released corporal are sure that they’ve managed to bring their son back with pickets and petitions, while their actual contribution to the deal was the same as the one of dissidents, who’ve allegedly "collapsed" the Soviet Union. Those, ruling Israel have merely taken advantage of them to promote their own, rather than someone else’s interests. They have to "stir up" the Arabs, push them towards terror and, by God, they will achieve it whatever it takes.

When Netanyahu government came to power, Ministry of Propaganda (Hasbara) has been created for the first time in Israeli history. In-house propagandists repeat that Israel is an outpost at the frontline against the Islamic terror, albeit we’re aware who shouts "Get the thief" loudest of all! The truth is that Israeli establishment encourages terror, fosters and nourishes it, making splashes and styling itself as a poor victim. The funding that Palestinian Autonomy receives from Iran is hundreds time less than the monthly money infusions from Israeli government. Terrorists disguised as Palestinian policemen got much more weapons and ammo from the IDF arsenals than through the underground channels at Sinai Peninsula.

All over the world terrorists are put to jail and only Israel releases them in hundreds. Terrorists, whom Israel had released before, spread all over the world. In the mid 90s they’ve even reached Chechnya. Terror admits no borders, but those who feed the dragon have names. For the justice sake, the majority of Israeli ministers are to be convicted for supporting terrorism. Alas, the state they govern is worth becoming the eighth state in the world, officially supporting terrorism.

The most likely contender for the throne, Nayef bin Abdel-Aziz al Saud, is a hardcore adherent of the Saudi hegemony. His coming to power will accelerate the creation of a "new Caliphate" founded upon the GCC, including Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Saudi Arabia. Moreover, this union will be expanded on the account of Jordan and Morocco. It goes without saying that Nayef will attempt to give the GCC nuclear program a kick-start, although proceeding from what we already know, it’s clear that in a year (two at most) we’re to hear the official statement that the "new Caliphate" disposes nuclear weapon.

AMERICAN NMD AND THE "GREATER ROMANIA" PROJECT
Oddities of the officially presented meaning of the U.S. NMD system may be discussed for a long time. So, the intercepting missiles, launched from Romania are to bring the hypothetical Iranian rockets down in over Turkey. In Turkey itself it is planned to station merely AWACS radar. According to the logic of the missile strikes, the latter one should be attack in the first place, because after that the attack at Europe and the USA can be waged with a much greater success. If we draw all the bases and radar of American NMD system as the points of a circle, it is the Russian Federation rather than Iran that happens to be in the center of it.
